The data has been obtained from national agencies and World bank reports. The data seems to vary for the three years 1995,96 and 97 except for Singapore, Mexico and Philippines. Last column of gives total inflow including stocks.
Gross Private Capital flows as % of GDP for 1997 for some economies are given in table. For 1997, APEC as a whole, total investment flow inwards is more or less equal to flow abroad.
