Telephone density for different economies are presented in table. Even in some economies, where overall telephone density is low, telephone density in cities is found to be very high compared to country average.
Regarding fixed phones, US, Canada, Hong Kong and Japan top the list. Hong Kong is no 1, in mobile phone density, followed by Korea and Japan.
